Where can I host a picnic in Houston?

Picnics can take place at Buffalo Bayou, a restaurant, a bar, or right in your back yard. We have a permit for Buffalo Bayou, however, you must gain permission from any restaurant or bar location that you select.

What happens if it rains or I need to cancel?

You are able to get 100% of your money back or you can choose to reschedule for another date.

 

However, if the cancellation is not due to weather, you must cancel 2 weeks prior to the event date.

Do I bring my own food?

Many customers bring their own food or purchase take out on the way to the picnic. If interested, I can connect you with food vendors that I highly recommend.

What does your base package include?

To get the shortest walk to the picnic location, you should search "Nau Family Pavilion" in Google Maps and that will get you to the closet parking location.

What are the rules at Buffalo Bayou Park?

  • Glass is not allowed

  • Parking costs $1.20 for 3 hours

  • If drinking alcohol, you must be discreet
